I got this because I frequent Dean's blog & always liked the time travel jukebox stories he had offered for free on his blog for a week.I wanted a standalone that I could keep, this filled the bill, and I enjoyed it very much; parts of it even made me wistful. Definitely a great read.

Jukebox Gifts eBook Dean Wesley Smith Reviews
The story is based on a great premise of using a special jukebox to give people a chance to change their lives. Dean Wesley Smith is a great story teller.
I absolutely love this story! It was a gift to myself, and is worthy of being a gift for anyone on your list. I know I will reread it this time every year; it is full of love and the spirit of Christmas - a man giving four of his friends the gift of traveling back in time to an event that was special to them. All I can say is WOW.
I love the author's whole concept of time travel via a very magical jukebox. I see there are other stories in this series and I'll be snapping them up. The characters became my friends and I'm hoping that the bartender will appear in the other books, which I intend to pick up soon's I'm done celebrating the first one here. Dean Wesley Smith's prose sped me through the story, a spare and fast-moving narrative. I'm giving this one my full 5-star huzZAH!
What a wonderful book! Dean W. Smith was able to do for those of us who can't go back to go forward. A friend of mine told me about this book. I've read it four times since i bought it on last night. Thanks Sam. I know I'll read this many times and feel like I did the first time I read it.
